Princesses Ready for a Taste of The Big Apple!
July 12, 2007
We are scheduled to be on THE TODAY SHOW on August 7th! We are so excited and praying for it to be a slow news week to increase our chances of not getting bumped off.
Of course, I am so excited to meet Meredith, Ann, Matt and Al; but I am also very excited that many of the princesses from our book are willing to leave their children and fly to NYC to support us and hand out bubbles. Having great girl friends is one of the biggest blessings of life!
This whole experience is so exciting I just don't know how to process it all. For example, what do we wear? I bought a really expensive dress because my thoughts are, "This is my rehearsal dinner dress!" But now I hear you should not wear black, and this cute dress is black. I may have to start over again, or I may just break the T.V. fashion rules.
We hear they will send a car for us to take us to hair and makeup. O.K., STOP right there. That is fantastic enough for one lifetime! Much less you then get to be on the show!
First of all, I just pray this all works out. And then secondly, while we are having such a great time we are able to really get the very important message we represent out to the world! The message of "Once Upon a Time," I posted below.
We feel so blessed to have this chance to represent princesses of all ages and hope you will watch and cheer us on!
Happily Ever After!Once upon a time there was a fairy tale that changed the way young girls felt about themselves forever!!!!!
This is so personal to me because there is a
6 year old now reading this book that in
10 years won’t have a prom date!
20 years will be in her umpteenth wedding!
30 years will want to scream if another person asks her “Why aren’t you married?”
And she will remember
I am a Princess!
I can be Happy!
And in that moment we will be a life changing success!
Please take a moment to let this book work its magic on you and know you are beautiful and you can have “Happily Ever After!”
